We are looking for experienced Senior and Principal Engineers to join our Data Infrastructure team focusing on our new line of products and services. As an expert in distributed systems and scalable data processing, you will be responsible for the data infrastructure, encompassing data flows, storage and processing solutions for cloud services used by millions of people. Nokia provides ample space for innovation and plenty of opportunities to create and implement cutting edge solutions that will support our current and future product lines.   Responsibilities Design, develop and implement demanding, distributed server-side software systems for various tasks related to large-scale data processing and web services, ranging from massive offline processing to real-time construction of predictive models Responsible for the design, implementation and operation of data ingestion and storage Guide other engineers through building scalable, reliable and efficient server-to-server software Revisit current distributed computing primitives and abstractions for data-driven systems, and evaluate the practical benefits of new ones (as they relate to current web-centric cloud services as well as the emerging programmable world) Use sound engineering techniques such as property and regression testing Automate routine deployment, reporting and management processes for the cloud Data management, query systems and indices
