The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in Public Accounting, a Bachelors in Accounting and a CPA is preferred. Relocation is available. Qualified candidates should be seeking to be part of a continually growing firm, looking for opportunity to work with our small to mid-market clients by assuming true in-charge responsibilities with significant client contact and the opportunity to participate in marketing and business development activities. Tax staff will be responsible for, but not limited to, preparing tax returns, planning and tax research for pass-through entities, handling IRS and State Tax notices and disputes, C-corps, and individuals at a federal and state level. Seeking candidate that either possess CPA designation or is working toward a CPA accreditation. A Bachelors degree in accounting is required. Tax Seniors will be responsible for, but not limited to, preparing complex federal and state tax returns for diverse industry clients; reviewing tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals and trusts; communicating with audit team and clients in order to gather tax return information; training/supervising staff; developing tax planning opportunities and projections for clients; researching federal and international tax issues; researching, analyzing, and reviewing state and federal tax notices.
