Then they will be consulting with them on the technology they should be choosing (the pros and cons with each technology) and building out a framework of how technology is going to meet those goals and objectives.Job Description: The architect will have longer-term visibility into the pipeline of projects than the developers have and their job is to work with the business executives and product owners to understand where the business is going, and align their technology choices and map out how they're going to achieve those goals and objectives. Day in the life: Beginning Phase- - Engage directly with the business to understand objectives - understand the pros and cons of the business choices they are trying to make - talk effectively to the business about the cost and scope estimations Technical Design Phase: - onboarding the business owners and the technical resources to the project and give onboarding presentations - mainly in Visio - work with Scrum team and development teams to help them understand the business perspective and technical direction in which they are heading. - Hand off to client implementation team and give presentationsAbout TEKsystems:Join TEKsystems®, a leading IT staffing, IT talent management and IT services firm, and get your career on the fast track.
