We offer excellent benefits and salary packages including free medical/dental/life insurance premiums for staff members.   AceInfo is currently seeking an Application Developer II to support our federal project, in Washington, DC. Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance or currently have an active secret clearance.     Background:    The program conducts and supervises independent and objective audits, inspections, and investigations of the programs and operations of the customer, and recommends ways for the customer to carry out its responsibilities in the most effective, efficient, and economical manner possible.  We seek to deter, identify, and address fraud, abuse, mismanagement, and waste of taxpayer funds invested.  The client also operates a hotline where the employees and others can report fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement, or other criminal or noncriminal misconduct.     The program will provide customized software development and programming in support of the Enterprise Application System (EAS) integration.  This task area addresses customized software applications, database applications, enterprise applications, and other solutions not available in off-the-shelf modular software packages.   A non-exhaustive list of examples of the types Enterprise Applications including but not limited to the major systems listed below to be maintained, enhance and developed under this contract are:   ·            Enterprise Data System  (EDS)   ·            Property Inventory Management System (PIMS)   ·            Project Tracking System (PTS)   ·            FOIA Tracking System   ·            Time Tracking System  (TTS)   ·            Hoteling Reservation System   ·            E-Subpoena   ·            OIG’s Performance Appraisal System (ePas)     The above listed applications (and other similar applications) would require a mix of database and web development tools and programming skills to implement.   Work on this contract is intended to cover the full range of database/enterprise applications development and database administration in support of the OIG mission.    Responsibilities: ·         understanding of methodologies for System Life Cycle management, including development and operations ·         designing, developing, implementing and maintaining routine business and management information systems in both centralized and network environments ·         technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing large business and management information systems utilizing Microsoft SQL Server (SQL) ·         capabilities for nonstandard programming techniques ·         extensive knowledge of specific development tools such as MS SQL, C#, Reporting Services AJAX, Team foundation Server, and .NET ·         developing Web-enabled database applications ·         evaluating user/customer requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, and time requirements, and compatibility with existing systems and capabilities ·         determining program specifications ·         consulting with user/customer management and technical staffs to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes ·         consulting with internal stakeholders and users/customers ·         determining required coding based on identified program intent ·         writing program documentation ·         providing assistance in user operation guidelines ·         providing assistance to lower-level analysts/programmers ·         prepare feasibility studies of potential SQL systems ·         coordinate database implementation ·         testing activities of assigned analyst/programmers and other professional staff ·         technical liaison with external consultants and contractors ·         preparing project time and cost estimates ·         performing post implementation analyses
