NIC Inc. is currently hiring for a Digital Government Marketing Manager. This candidate will be responsible for implementing marketing, research, and promotional activities designed to sell new portals, products, and services that will drive higher corporate revenues. The Marketing Manager also manages key sales-driven marketing projects that encourage government leaders to issue RFPs and supports the marketing & messaging strategies in response to these RFP initiatives. In addition, the successful Marketing Manager will strengthen NIC’s competitive positioning and further enhance our long-term relationships with government. Essential Job Functions: Support all corporate marketing initiatives by implementing messaging, advertising, and promotional content for NIC’s key marketing channels -- including print, online, social media, egov.com, RFP responses, endorsements, thought leadership materials, and events Work closely with the operations and sales teams to implement marketing programs that position NIC and our core funding model positively to inoculate against competitive threats to the business Monitor competitive activity and develop strategies to counter potential challenges Develop materials to highlight NIC’s core messages and win themes at every phase of the sales marketing process – including initial prospecting, sell-in, RFP response, and oral presentations Implement corporate market research programs that provide actionable data and insights to be used in marketing & sales efforts Support oral presentation process on behalf of sales team; consult on other product and service oral presentations as needed Develop sales-driven presentations in coordination with Vice President of Marketing and the sales team Meet with key prospects and assists the sales team with maintaining relationships and closing deals Manage day-to-day relationships with marketing vendors and track project deliverables Execute marketing programs for specific digital government services Provide marketing support help sell new solutions and drive higher adoption & usage of current services Represent company at sales-driven industry events Coordinate with corporate communications team to ensure business development-driven marketing content is presented consistently across company channels
