Managers and Executives at this company can expect to develop strong career relationships and can expect to be involved in running a successful carrier.  Client seeks a  Director of CCAR.  Fuller job description is below: Director of CCAR & Financial Support - Life, Health and Disability The Director has primary responsibility for meeting CCAR delivery requirements for the line.   This role will lead all aspects of CCAR requirements across a broad range of functions. Heavy coordination with L&R FP&A, ERM, financial, actuarial and line of business financial associates will produce plans, projection models and application of stress testing scenarios. The role insures delivery requirements are met and communicates expected exceptions and leads efforts to resolve and remediate issues. Solid analysis and judgment is critical to assess outcomes for reasonableness and supporting challenges made by senior leadership and other functions. This includes understanding and reacting to changes in our Statutory, GAAP, and cash flow financial balance sheet and income statement. The position will be heavily involved in preparation of communication packages expressing results, responding to regulatory inquires and assuring documentation exists supporting all key considerations and judgments employed to reaching conclusions.   This position will support the Life, Health and Disability CFO in preparing special or other non-routine presentations and related commentary along with the related key performance metrics (“KPIs”) to support analysis.   Life, Health and Disability is included in the Consumer segment.  Additionally it is expanding globally.  There are evolving systems and processes being created to manage the developing organization.  It is anticipated the leadership skills needed for CCAR will also be redirected as time permits to provide financial oversight and assistance to business leaders including specific initiatives and preparation of communication supporting the annual budgets and plans.   Organization Structure and Interfaces   This position will report to the Life, Health and Disability CFO and will work in a collaborative manner with the Life line, L&R, Consumer Company corporate associates. The primary responsibility will be interaction with other functional areas. This individual needs to have excellent attention to detail, time deadlines and organizational management skills.   Key Performance Objectives  Coordinate and lead preparation of results of baseline and stressed financial models specific to CCAR through interfacing with other functions in L&R and Consumer. Provide for the timely preparation, interpretation and analysis of model outcome and other related financial information. Preparation or lead preparation of ducumentation supporting key judgements in the financial forecasts. Ensure effective and full integration with annual budgeting requirements of Consumer and L&R and related re-forecasts. Help ensure compliance with Company policies on Federal Reserve documentation andreporting requirements.   Participate in special projects as determined by the business Company Life and Retirement financial management. Special projects, for example, may include model enhancements, finanical transformation efforts, financial management and assistance to business leaders with expense budgets, forecasting operations, non standard transaction analysis and resolution and or project managing a review of a specific products results.   Supporting Performance Objectives   Develop and manage effective internal relationships. Identifying opportunities to improve resource allocations and collaborate with other work groups across Company to build world class financial forecasting capabilities.  The Ideal Candidate Should Have   Minimum of 8 - 10 years of progressive accounting, actuarial or financial management experience in the life insurance industry MBA, CPA or ASA Project management experience is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Strong analytical problem solving ability Aptitude to multitask, handling multiple projects simultaneously & successfully Must be a creative thinker Strong presentation skills Excellent team player
