Title:  RN- Director of Surgical Services  Shift: Days Energetic seasoned Nurse Director needed to oversee a very busy Surgical Services Department ( PAT, Surgery, CSP, Endo and Same Day Surgery) Facility Description: The facility is located northwest Alabama along the Tennessee River in a two county region known as the Shoals,with four gentle and distinct seasons, the Shoals is an outdoor lover’s dream. The river and its system of lakes offer a variety of recreational activities. The area carries forth the ideals of creating a safe, family-friendly place for residents to live. The Shoals area also boasts numerous museums,art galleries,theater groups and dance studios. It is known worldwide for its music recording industry, and is home to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. The facility provides general acute care. Services include a 24-hour Emergency Department, medical/oncology, medical/surgical inpatient units as well as intensive care and a short stay surgery unit. This facility also operates the area’s only in-patient acute rehab facility, Rehab Unit. The Open MRI Center compliments the full service Imaging and diagnostics department. With more than 100 physicians on staff,representing over 24 specialty areas of medicine.The operating company has committed to build a replacement hospital housing 300 beds, all private rooms.This facility will service northern Alabama, and surrounding area of 22,0000 people. There are 17 FTE's in the Surgery, Pacu, Day Surgery and Endoscopy depts.  Six OR's with 2 Endo suites. Specialties include ENT, Ortho, Gen, URO, Plastics, Gyn, Podiatry, Oral, Egd's. No Trauma. Pacu dept has 6 bays.    Qualified candidates must have a RN, BSN, CNOR and a Master's degree preferred. Experience Directing  a nursing unit. We are looking for an accomplished candidate.
