Job Title: Divisional Sales Manager, InteriorsRequisition Number: SO CTRL-4319Interest Category: Sales / MarketingHourly/Salary: SalaryCity: ChicagoState: IllinoisCountry: United StatesShift: DaysJob Description: DIVISIONAL SALES MANAGEMENT – building industry experience NOT required :The Interiors Sales Manager, reports to the VP of Sales for the Southern Division and is based out of our corporate office in Chicago. The sales manager leads and develops a sales team of Area Sales Managers and their Sales Reps for the entire southern division (CA to FL). The manager will be responsible for developing a strategy to deliver on the companies goals within the retail box and pro segments. The sales manager shapes the focus of sales efforts in his/her geographical territory in coordination with and leadership of the area sales managers.Responsibilities:*Develops strategy to deliver on goals in both “Big Box” and “Pro Tile” Segments , monitors performance, and directs efforts of the ASMs to ensure successful execution of the strategy;*Selects top sales talent, manages, and leads the activities of the team and acts as a direct line manager for 4+ Area Sales Managers and as a role model to ensure the team’s development and competency;*Manages budget and monitors financial performance;*Collaborates with Central Planning to ensure corporate objectives and commitments to Key Accounts are being communicated to and complied with by the sales team;*Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with “Big Box” and “Pro Tile” Regional and Divisional Management Teams; and*Collaborates with the VP Sales and General Manager of the South business to ensure goals of the division are understood and being communicated to the Interior Area Sales Managers and Regional sales team.
