Head of Products quality focus areas: Reliability and Delivery Quality (in close co-operation with other functions like Industrial Design, Mechanics, Hardware, Software), User experience quality Drives corrective and preventative actions on product quality issues and supports program business decisions Key objectives Creates Quality strategy for Products group Ensure that consumer experience is top priority in programs by being an end customer voice from the beginning of program Provide fact based visibility to management for decision making about reliability, user experience quality. Bring field feedback information and priorities to program and drive for quality improvements. Share the learnings to enable preventative and corrective actions for same problems in other products. Managing User Experience implementation and verification in product programs. Manage SW and HW quality work and cross functional improvement activities. Manage delivery quality to ensure supplier and manufacturing quality. Drive/share with vendors/original design manufacturer to ensure product manufacturing and parts delivery to meet design requirements.
