Money Map Press, a subsidiary of Agora Inc., is seeking a junior developer with a desire to manipulate API's and third party tools, master proprietary systems, improve sales funnels and directly manage high traffic, multi-million dollar websites. Our promise to the right candidate is the ability to contribute like never before and be involved in major decisions.If you're ready to join our growing in-house tech team and work your way into a role with complete ownership over technical projects we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:* Seek out revenue generating opportunities within new frontend technologies and frameworks.* QA all website deployments, debug code on the fly and manage multiple projects. * Core understanding of browser and system requirements across multiple devices. * Support third party systems and frameworks - Google analytics, Listrak, Genesis, Magento, etc.* Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet various demands of client programming and on-call requirements (very limited).* Assist with Tier 2 support as needed.Required Technical Skills:* Experience producing secure, Object Oriented (OOP), server side code - specifically PHP.* Basic understanding of RESTful API practices and server communication using AJAX/JSON and JavaScript/jQuery.* Basic understanding with version control on a large scale - specifically GIT.* Proficiency in all front-end web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as well as libraries such as jQuery and jQuery UI. Heavy JavaScript preferable.* A bachelors degree in an IT or Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience.* Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication in English.* Strong organizational skills, structured thinking and development methodology* Detail-oriented, and can get the job done* Ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team growing rapidly.We are looking for someone that can start immediately.
