Under general supervision, cuts and maintains lawns and/or grass. Rakes and maintains leaves, plants, flowers, trees or shrubs.Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Provides grounds maintenance in all seasons by performing general maintenance upkeep functions for the facility such as mowing, trimming, edging, planting, clipping, pruning, shearing, spraying, hosing, sprinkling, washing, burning, cutting, light snow removal, sweeping, repairing, cleaning, and mopping as directed by management.- May need to arrange large scale snow or dirt removal.- May assist in determining the appropriate plants or shrubs for walkways or garden areas.- Maintains required inventory, issues control and accountability of tool, equipment and hazardous materials.- May assist in unloading trucks and moving supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand truck.- Performs other duties as assigned.
