Mechanical Engineer Entry Level Electroimpact Inc of Mukilteo WA has many full-time salaried positions for mechanical engineers.  Candidates should have a BSME (or BSAero) degree and we will give an engineering test. We are currently building machines that drill and fasten A350 wings in the UK.  Machines that wind graphite fiber onto the 787.  Machines that install rivets and bolts into the A380 wings.  Many other exotic machines as well.  We have aircraft assembly machines going to Japan and China.  We need to provide high speed fiber placement machines to Spirit.  Entry level engineers initially assemble machines and then move onto design. The company was founded in 1986 by Dr. Peter Zieve as a haven for engineers.  If you enjoy using hand tools, working on cars or operating machine tools you will be able to use these skills.  If you prefer CAD design and structural analysis you can use those skills as well.  Electroimpact provides factory automation solutions for aerospace including machine tools and fixtures.  Electroimpact has grown to be one of the larger system integrators of aircraft assembly lines.  A significant customer base provides Electroimpact with projects throughout the world.  Electroimpact is an engineer driven organization that seeks individuals with strong communication skills coupled with a solid engineering background. We look for individuals who prefer to be involved in the product lifecycle from system conceptualization to in-service application.  With a strong history of engineers that build what they create; we look for people with the aptitude to design on the screen and apply in the field.  Basic CAD skills are required, but training will be provided on the latest solid modeling platforms.  Most projects are based in Mukilteo but applicant must be willing to travel to support installation efforts and warranty work.  Electroimpact is 100% owned by engineers that work in the business.  This creates an environment in which good engineering is more important than good profit. At Electroimpact the engineer is involved in every aspect of a project including concept, selling, business, designing, manufacturing, integration, shipping, installing and factory support.  The engineer is in communication with and is directly responsible to the customer/user.  For the avoidance of doubt we employ 300 engineers, zero salesmen and zero businessmen.  We have jobs that need mechanical engineers to join on immediately.
