Nuclear Configuration Management Specialist  – Robinson Nuclear Station  This position is a Nuclear Configuration Management (CM) Specialist reporting directly to the site CM Supervisor.  This is a second level position in the CM hierarchy. CM employees are responsible for maintaining facility configuration information (FCI) accurate; FCI includes Duke drawings, vendor drawings, equipment databases, Design Engineering Databases, etc.  Work is performed using Computer Aided Drafting applications and the Ventyx Asset Suite.  Candidates must have a working knowledge of CM concepts, engineering procedures and products. The position is not discipline specific (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Nuclear, etc.).  Duties and Responsibilities:  Prepares, revises, and checks fleet configuration information such as Control Wiring Diagrams, Piping Drawings, Cable, Conduit List, Flow Diagrams, One Lines, Electrical/I&C component drawings, EDB, sketches, etc.Develops Configuration Management related Engineering Changes (EC) based on pre-authorized design information. This includes identifying the changes to CM information such as drawings, vendor manuals, EDB, procedures, equipment labels, PMs, etc. to ensure the CM EC is fully reconciled.Ensures legibility and accuracy of new drawings and revised portions of existing drawings.Consolidates design information to eliminate redundancy where duplication is straightforward and minimal interpretation is required. Investigates and evaluates CM discrepancies (CAP items) to determine proper resolution.Accomplishes special projects, when assigned, in the CM area.
