The talent of our extraordinary people and the culture and business approach we foster, coupled with the exceptional, creative services we provide and the results we deliver worldwide for owners, occupiers, and investors are what distinguishes Cushman & Wakefield.Job Title: Workplace Support Specialist PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Position includes assignments, tasks and responsibilities in Events, Reception and the Service Center.• Become familiar with Cushman & Wakefield and Adobe policies, practices and procedures as they relate to position and job description. • Answer phone calls promptly, professionally, and with appropriate telephone etiquette, including calls to the main line entailing interaction with Adobe customers, internal phone calls and internal help desk. • Welcome visitors, issue badges and follow all visitor and Security procedures. • Support multiple service areas proficiently. • Serve as liaison with vendors and secure certificates of liability insurance for all event related matters.• Perform daily responsibilities with self-managed initiative (i.e. opening/closing tasks, stocking supplies, completing requests, meeting deadlines).• Complete reports accurately and in a timely manner, with the appropriate attention to detail.• Assist with special projects as requested. • Recommend best shipping options for customers shipping packages, i.e. FedEx, UPS, USPS, to include guidance with respect to insurance, packaging and claim processing when needed.• Other duties and assignments as required to meet the needs of the business. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:• Create work order requests for Facilities, Information Technology, Catering and other departments as needed. • Serve as the primary point of contact for event and meeting related needs, including space reservations, catering, facilities requests and audio-visual scheduling.• Assist and coordinate visitor registration for events, to include communication with event owners to ensure all details are coordinated and finalized in time for a given event.• Provide assistance for events occurring onsite as needed.• Serve as liaison with vendors and secure certificates of liability insurance for all event related matters.• Provide professional, timely, courteous and accurate service to employees and customers• Answer questions and solve problems independently by utilizing a variety of resources to provide accurate information. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:SKILLS  • Exceptional  interpersonal skills, both in person and via telephone displaying a high level of professionalism• Ability to develop, maintain and adhere to action items, responsibilities, goals and initiatives self-imposed or assigned.• Flexibility in schedule to work overtime when needed and to accommodate occasional after hours business activities.• Be able to learn quickly and follow detailed instructions• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite to include Outlook Calendar, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and be able to type at least 35 wpm.• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and sit, walk, stand or bend for extended periods of time.• Ability to provide consistently accurate service with acute attention to detail• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills• Ability to multitask and manage multiple events, meetings or projects in a fast-paced environment for a variety of client representatives.• Ability to follow through and to help with tasks as a team player• Dependability and maturity strongly required with the ability to accommodate change when needed•    Strong organizational skills EDUCATION• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. • College degree and/or related experience and training preferred.    EXPERIENCE• Minimum of two years of experience in office administration or closely related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job). • Minimum of one year coordinating meetings and events.   Cushman & Wakefield is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
