U.S. Bancorp is the fifth-largest commercial bank in the United States. Elavon is currently seeking a National Sales Consultant, who will work on the government and institutional  sales team and whose flexibility and adaptability allow him/her to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients. If you have passion and drive for sales and have experience selling to the public sector, there are many opportunities for advancement along your career path. The following responsibilities are included:                Achieves and exceeds all sales goals; Identifies prospects and referral sources for solicitation through the organization’s internal network, through subscription-based services, and assigned banking alliance partners; Meets with prospective customers to actively promote and sell products and services; Engages with prospective partners to expand referral network; Establishes and maintains relationships with assigned U. S. Bank partners to facilitate referrals; Prepares and presents professional Request for Proposal (RFP) and stand-alone proposals for prospects; Provides presentations, as required, to external and internal constituents, including proposal presentations, product, and sales demonstrations; Maintains required subject expertise, including product knowledge, general organization practices, policies and procedures, and knowledge of technological advances applicable to product lines and services; Establishes and maintains good public relations with the community to enhance the organization’s image and develop new business; Maintains contact with other internal referral sources to facilitate cross-selling opportunities, often conducting joint calls with other business development areas; Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures; Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas; and Follows account-opening procedures and understands and follows internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position.The successful candidate will need to be located in California and he/she will cover a sales territory that includes California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Your Career is Here.
