Production Group Leader Manufacturer of Orthopedic products, located in Troy MI is currently interviewing for a Production Group Leader for our Orthotic Central Fabrication Facility. This position will be responsible for providing direction and guidance to members of the production team in their daily production operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversight of production levels, quality and inventory control. Coordinate daily operations to ensure daily and weekly production goals are met and exceeded. Responsible for coordinating and the effective scheduling of production team members and resources to meet customer shipping requirements. Responsible for communication with all productions teams, and other staff, as required, to ensure that quality product is delivered, on time, to all customers, Maintenance and implementation of quality standards and processes. Develop and implement training programs across work groups.    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required. The most desirable candidate will have a Degree, in a related (e.g. Engineering, Production Management) technical field. Some experience in integrating and combining remote production units into single operation. Strong computer skills, ability to demonstrate prior experience in prioritizing and planning of scheduled work orders within fast paced environment. Previous leadership experience is required. Ability to foster collaboration through team building.
