Overview: The Public Relations Manager is responsible for planning and executing a wide variety of special events/promotions, along with media/community relations projects. Key Accountabilities: - Manage and coordinate all aspects of in-store special events from beginning to end - Assume an active role in community relations - Manage and operate an office with responsibilities including budgeting & administrative duties - Create and execute media - Work closely with store management team on strategies/plans to develop & execute in-store events Skills Summary: - Must have at least 5 years experience in marketing and/or special events/public relations - 4 year degree in public relations, communications or marketing - Retail background a plus - Strong writing and verbal communication skills necessary - Strong involvement and knowledge of communities, as well as media contacts - Independent worker, self initiative/self-starter, resourceful and a problem solver - Organized, detailed and thorough, creative and positive - Must be a solid team player - Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Bloomingdale's Is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
