Brief Description of Position: Administrative position with responsibility for monitoring driver SOP and working with the department to ensure compliance in addition to maintaining & monitoring employee safety   Principal Responsibilities: ·         Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers ·         Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files ·         Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications ·         Ensure all NY State inspections, registrations and Insurance ID’s for trucks are current ·         Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures ·         Assist the NY Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned
