The Sales Support Specialist at Clement Pappas & Co. Inc. will be a motivated individual who will be proactive in supporting their business sales channel team. This is a role for a high-performer with excellent organizational skills, who wants to learn the business and advance in a sales career track with a successful and growing organization. Reporting to the Business Channel Sales Manager he/she will be highly involved with the entire sales and support team and actively involved in problem solving, organizing information/activities and pro-actively identifying both issues and opportunities in their day-to-day duties. There will be some direct customer communication on certain issues with clients. In addition to the above, the position includes responsibility for data such as new item set up, price list maintenance, promotional set-up, project feasibility support and sample request/tracking. Responsibilities include: · Special project business reviews · Maintain broker administrative requests. · Review programs for efficiencies, recommend adjustments and coordinate disbursements. · Receive local, state and federal government bid solicitations. · Takes an active role in the day to day activities and support of the Channel team · Work with Customers and Channel management on new item set-up, forecasting support , price list and promotional maintenance · Involved with and competent in customer online portals · Key organizer and supporter of the Sales Manager in their day to day functions · Monitor customers’ online platforms both passively and actively for any changes or updates that would affect the interest of the salesperson or the company · Develop a deep understanding of the products and procedures in order to effectively support the Sales managers · Support the Sales Management with their presentation preparation · Help create and maintain sales reports in support Sales Management team · Keep Sales Management aware of critical timelines · Work with the Sales Management to maintain data and documents that allow them to maximize time spent selling and closing · Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
