Position Summary:The Support (Implementation) & Reengineering Analyst works in a cross-functional team environment supporting the implementation of strategies through proprietary engines / Legacy systems. Work with internal and external clients, database administrators, other developers and project managers to architect processes and improvements and offer innovative and automated solutions that are accurate, delivered timely, and add value to the organization and our customers. Support and provide maintenance for production application. Develop automation and issue identification process for new applications.Essential Functions: Firm understanding of SAS Programming and SQL coding.Utilize technical skills with SAS, SQL, and Database concepts to develop audits as per QA/PM requirements.Need technical skills of VBA Scripting, QTP and ETL processes.Ability to turn business requirements into Technical Design specifications and documents, SAS Programs, and SQL Queries as appropriate.Analytical ability to assess impact of triggering actions in case of bank errors and help to remediate.Perform Root cause analysis for incorrect triggering actions and stop bleeding.Assist with SAS List processing work within the group.Ability to grasp the working of proprietary Engine / Legacy systems and make changes to Frontend GUI rules as per business requirements.Familiarity with Unix scripting (Kornshell scripting) and VBAManage external List processes.Communicate with Internal and External stakeholders on a regular basis providing updates and solutions for issues related to legacy systems.Capable of working with cross-functional teams to manage projects, determine prioritization, and create appropriate timelines.Development and Implementation of Process Improvements and Automation.Demonstrate the ability to self manage and multitask in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.Other Responsibilities:Attend project meetingsUnderstand business requirementsAssess and identify project risks with regard to Development work and timelines.Escalate issuesIdentify/recommend efficiencies and cost savings measuresManage deliverables within assigned projectsEducation, Experience, And Skills Required:.5 years of SAS and SQL required.B.S. or B.A. preferably in computer science, math, or analytical discipline required.Master's Degree or Foreign equivalent preferred.Team Leadership Management preferred.Unix scripting (Kornshell scripting), VBA and Oracle database.Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills.Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience with List Processing preferred but not required.Ability to multi-task and work under pressureAbility to work independently under minimal supervision The above statements reflect the general details considered necessary to decide the principal functions of the job identified, and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements which may be inherent in the job.
