Job Summary: This position will be responsible for monitoring a company network including WAN, LAN, security, and critical applications. This position will require the use of various monitoring tools, such as Websense, Sourcefire, Windows utilities, and basic troubleshooting skills to observe logs, triage alerts and remedy end-user issues.Job Roles: Infrastructure Operations Security & Risk Management Use email scanning tools to strip attachments and release them back to the user Troubleshoot issues with websites and personal/network storage Perform Vulnerability Assessments and Management Work closely with networking services to deal with alerts based on IDS/IPS systems, Active Directory Auditing tools, LogRhythm, etc. Stand up, monitor, and perform operations and maintenance on a Kiwi Syslog server Monitoring remote access usage Monitoring threat intelligence feeds to grow the business's defenses Work with tools to monitor end-user devices (approve devices, endpoint lockdown, account additions) Privacy & Data Protection Monitoring logs and responding to logs using Websense, Palo Alto/Wildfire/Panorama, LogRhythm, etc. Monitoring email with Forefront and Proofpoint Firewall request reviews and approvals Active Directory auditing Any other activities that are considered to be daily operationsQualifications: 4-year College degree or equivalent work experiences CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN, CEH certifications a plus (1 or more) Must have a good understanding of network technologies, including routers, switches, etc. Websense and Sourcefire experience a plus Must have the ability to be multi-task oriented PCI environment experience a plus Ability to work in a team environment
