We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Project Sponsor with strong GC/CM experience for our TIG Seattle District office located in Bellevue, WA. Responsibilities: •Oversees total construction of project from pre-construction to project closeout to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule •Provides value alternative solutions taking into consideration cost, schedule, maintenance, and life cycle cost implications. Oversees value alternate preparation from subcontractors, and internal departments. •Fills in design gaps for incomplete documents for the completion of estimates. Ensures estimating department has most current design information in the preparation of estimates. •Assists in securing new work by participating as part of the core team and contributing to the estimate, proposal and presentation •Attends and represents PCL in all design and coordination meetings. On some projects may lead these meetings. Maintains an action log for outstanding items and assigns responsibility for such action items. Maintains scope issues log and is responsible for compiling pricing (with assistance from estimating as needed). •Interfaces with project team, client representative, architect/designer representative and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle to deliver the project on time and on budget •Ensures project safety standards and environmental program are adhered to at all times by conducting site inspections, leading by example, reviewing incidents, near misses and reviewing HSE reports and statistics •Builds and manages relationship with owners, designers, architects and key stake holders in the markets we cover •Mentors, coaches and. supervises and assesses performance of Project Managers and other project team members (i.e. Field Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Accountants, Administrative Assistants, etc.) •Attends industry events and represents PCL to the industry in a professional capacity •Assists the Marketing Department in preparation of responses to RFP's and RFQ's •Assists in the prequalification process •Monitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance, safety and environment, quality control and QUEST programs •Creates and monitors project budget •Negotiates claims/disputes with the owner and sub-trades in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager and Project Managers •Oversees project closeout
