This is a direct-hire, permanent role and interviews are being conducted immediately. The client is an insurance firm that has an ever growing presence in Chicago and the Midwest! The client has been around for 70+ years and is bringing on another strong project manager to help with the growing needs! The client is looking for someone that will become the subject matter expert (SME) for several of the companies product offerings. You will primarily be working on small to medium sized projects. You will spend the majority of your time gathering business requirements and working with development teams to help implement various system upgrades. There is also a small aspect of quality assurance where you will be responsible for validating solutions for business cases. To be considered for this role you must know or have the following experience: - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Client facing experience or strong experience working with executive stake holders - Ability to work with 3rd party vendors - Exposure or experience with the mainframe platform The following would set you ahead of the pack: - PMP Certification or Bachelors degree - Experience with mainframe system and integrating that system with other systems - Insurance industry experience For immediate consideration please apply on-line.
