We are currently seeking a Vocational Case Manager to work within the northwest metro area of Atlanta for a dedicated customer assisting in the return to work process in Worker’s Compensation.Responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, case management, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals within the Work Comp arena. The candidate will perform job analyzes at the employer site(s). Additionally, performs return-to-work coordination at the employer. Coordinates claimant participation in various programs, activities and services designed to prepare them for re-entry to the employer's workforce.Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:• Perform the initial review and assessment of case information and referral objectives.• The candidate may travel to other employer sites within and outside of local state to perform job analyzes as requested by employer.• The candidate may travel to medical providers for injured worker's appointments and/or physician meetings.• Serves as intermediary to interpret and educate the individual on his/her disability, and the treatment plan established by the case manager, physicians, and therapists.• Conducting interviews which, in conjunction with the medical information and release, will allow the formulation of return-to-work goals.• Working with the physicians and therapists to set up medical assessments to identify physical and mental capabilities which will aid in assisting the injured worker to return-to-work when medically feasible.• Working with the employer on modifications to job duties based on medical limitations and the employee's functional assessment.• Coordinating the injured worker's appointments.• Maintaining the necessary credentials and demonstrating a level of professionalism within the work place and in dealing with injured workers reflects positively on the company as a whole.
