Test Engineer, Norcross, GAInteracts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Experience with lead test role during the execution of environmental qualification testing for Avionics equipment (DO-160 qualification and EMI/EMC testing a plus). Experience using test and measurement equipment including system and board level testing (RF equipment a plus) Experience with data analysis and presentation of test data using common tools such as Microsoft Excel. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills. Must be able to determine Pass/Fail status of witnessed environmental qualification testing and provide a detailed qualification test report. Strong working knowledge of electronic engineering discipline to include ability to interpret top level customer specification flow down, theory of operation descriptions, and schematic drawings Develop verification and test plans to enable testing at all program stages including development, qualification, acceptance and production. Design microwave test solutions for vector network analysis of multi-port RF networks to include, uncertainty, repeatability, and dynamic accuracy predictions. Perform data analysis of multidimensional data using statistical discovery techniques including what-if scenarios and trend analysis. Knowledge of SOLT, TRL, LRM etc. calibration methods. Capable of defining and efficiently conducting conclusive validation studies on new and existing RF test systems. Experience with qualification testing of Space Electronics hardware (thermal vacuum, vibration, etc.) Working knowledge of one or more of the following - Agilent VEE, Labview, TestStand, VB6, C++, VB.Net, VBA. Antenna Measurements with knowledge of associated technologies and test methods Working knowledge of Antenna positioning hardware. BS Electronics Engineering preferred (equivalent experience/education considered on a case by case basis) 5+ year integration and test experience For this particular position US citizenship is requested.
