This position is open as of 1/18/2015.Vice President of Professional ServicesIf you are a Vice President of Professional Services with experience, please read on!What You Will Be DoingThe primary responsibility of the Vice President of Professional Services is to provide leadership defining, developing, and delivering our SaaS solutions and post-implementation customer support. These solutions need will include our core product capabilities in data collection and management, applications for managing the product owner's post-purchase experience, and reporting as well as integration to third party systems and applications. This role reports to the company CEO and serves on the company's steering team. Responsibilities: • Design and implement methods for implementing the company's solutions for clients including scoping projects during the sales-cycle, conducting business analysis and defining requirements, project management and delivery, and post-launch support. • Management of client expectations and scope changes during the delivery of a solution including strong collaboration with the company sales team. • Owns the Company's process and methodologies for project implementation and collaborating in the company's overall client life-cycle processes. • Grow and foster a culture of innovation, professionalism, quality, and service excellence. Encourage and promote creative thinking and problem solving as well as career development. • Foster and maintain close working relationships with the Company's Sales, Finance, Engineering and Data Marketing Services and other departments within the organization. • Lead client services planning, budgeting, billable utilization analysis, technical account management and strategic planning. Ensure delivery effectiveness, efficiency and profitability. • Serve as a key member of management and work on setting delivery of services direction. • Manage and mentor the Technical Account Managers and Services team resources on a day to day basis as well as the strategic level • Work with engineering on client related development and QA activities while maintaining project quality, timelines and budget • Understand product companies' business models in consumer and B2B IT and provide expertise in ERP, CRM Marketing and Support. • Knowledge of Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, and similar enterprise systems especially for the purpose of integrations • Responsible for vendor relationships for related or subcontracted services as needed. • Maintain transparency by broadly communicating performance, goals and progress. • Conduct and manage internal/external training and customer solution hand-off activities.What You Need for this PositionRequirements: • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred • 5 years of experience in a senior level position (Director, VP or higher) • 10+ years of experience managing and/or directing services organizations for software companies. 10+ years of experience working in the IT industry. • Must have direct management responsibility in solution development, sales and delivery of complex and integrated software solutions on a profitable/growth basis. • Ability to organize and structure team for scale. • Working knowledge of web technologies and specifications – HTML, CSS, JavaScript and expertise with multiple enterprise systems for both ERP and CRM like Oracle, SAP, and Salesforce and reporting systems preferred. • Ability to manage, motivate, recruit, and develop professional team of 20 or more resources. • Ability to build consensus, rally support around common goals and to motivate groups and individuals with demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles. • Strong project and program management skills. PMP certification and working knowledge is a plus. • Easily balances competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines with an ability to think strategically and creatively yet also able to deliver tactically. • Ability to rapidly process and comprehend large amounts of detailed information, consider the implications and consequences of new facts, and make good decisions. • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word and Powerpoint • Ability to be articulate, concise, compelling and diplomatic. • Skills in defining and implementing best in class methods, tools and procedures. • Ability to successfully manage a professional services P&L. • Work well independently. Big 4 experience is a plus. Willingness to travel.
