Match! Batch! Code! We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with Construction Industry experience. Apply Today! The responsibilities are: Process high volume of invoices into the system Research contract/agreements if needed Perform check runs  Manage large accounts vendors Perform all aspects of the accounts payable function by matching purchase orders to invoices    and entering the invoices into the software according to department policies and deadlines. Identify errors or discrepancies and resolve before processing. Invoice and bill direct shipments to customers. Maintaining a detail excel spreadsheet for freight allocations to various locations. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Maintaining proper backup files for research; reference; and payment. Manage weekly payments; including ACH transactions and web payments. Confirming all backup documentation is included for payment. Act as primary contact for large vendor; including vendor claim requests, invoice discrepancies, detail payment submissions, consigned invoicing and reconciling EDI program. Research and resolve any outstanding balances on accounts, including telephone, mail, or email communications with vendor. Printing and distributing all receivers, invoices/credits, and statements received from the Accounts Payable email address. Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounts Payable Specialist (Accounting) Additional responsibilities: Creating and updating Excel based reports Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounts Payable Specialist (Accounting)
