Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Commerical HVAC Quotations Specialist for our Tampa, FL location.  If you are a professional, career-minded individual with an interest in this position and who is committed to great customer service, this is the position for you! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Secure needed information from customers, vendors and associates in order to accurately complete takeoffs/job bidding/quotations. - Review bid parameters, qualifications, stipulations and time frames to insure compliance with customer expectations. - Follow up on all open quotations. - Maintain timely and consistent communication with sales personnel with regard to the status of pending quotations. - Develop strong working relationship with vendors and customers in order to more easily obtain needed information for developing competitive quotations. - Work closely with Program Managers, Product Managers, Marketing and vendors to keep abreast of changes in pricing, products and program parameters. - Develop sufficient product knowledge to be able to source required items and offer alternates and substitutes where applicable. - Track and log quotation outcomes including competitor successes along with final price differences if available through market intelligence. - Attend product training as required. - Participate in software training as required.
