Clinical Educator for Women’s Care provides educational support to improve patient care and outcomes within the Women’s Care Hospital.  The Clinical Educator identifies, develops, and delivers educational programs for individuals and groups of learners in both the clinical and classroom setting; provides clinical instruction to meet and ensure clinical competency of staff, safe delivery of care, and to support evidence based practice. Job Summary:  Provides education/offerings programs that effectively meet the learning needs of the hospital staff, patients, volunteers, and community.  Plans, implements, and evaluates all Educational Services programming which includes: professional continuing education, orientation, inservice, certifications, mandatory safety skills, and competency skill validation.  Serve as a resource staff to the organization and serves on a variety of special projects and hospital committees.  This role is instrumental for the implementation of organizational changes. Essential Duties: Complies with safety and emergency procedures. Complies with organizational policies. Documents activities consistent with Hospital/department/unit guidelines. Performs critical/frequent procedures or services. Provides care/services based on identified needs. Uses required equipments/supplies for providing care/services. Consults with Hospital/department resources. Demonstrates professional responsibility as per job classification. Demonstrates Core Values Guest Relations/Guest Service Standards.
