Digital Network Exploitation A Responsibilities Are you looking for an opportunity to support decision-makers at the highest levels of the U.S. Government by providing input to ongoing sensitive planning for Cyberspace efforts? Are you interested in conducting cyber planning and performing technical digital network analysis? The Cyber Branch of the Combined Military Planning and Access Strategies (CoMPAS) is seeking a Cryptologic Cyber Planner to plan efforts that span the full range of action development from the initial, conceptual stages all the way through mission execution. As a member of the COMPAS team, the selectee will synchronize CoMPAS cyber initiatives and facilitate NSA planning for efforts of USCYBERCOM and other Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations. You will develop strategies to support and enable the military, engage to help decision authorities understand our equities, and provide input to the requirements process and in the development of Support Plans and other planning documents. While coordinating across NSA Directorates, IC Agencies, and with select SIGINT Partners, the selectee will shape operations and related policies. To perform at the highest levels, you will stay at the forefront of technologies and methods related to capability development and work on both offensive and defensive cyberspace initiatives. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of the joint planning process to facilitate the development of detailed cryptologic Functional Support Plans (FSPs). The selectee will use Joint, Service and Interagency planning and operational experience to support strategic and operational level planning across the full range of DOD and U.S. Government operations for integrated information and cyberspace operations. They will collaborate with cyber operators to identify and levy requirements for intelligence collection and analysis, and support targeting selection, validation, synchronization, and execution of complex cyber missions. Cyber Planners have sufficient technical knowledge to understand cyber capabilities, target vulnerabilities, and effects, and they collaborate with cyber operators, analysts, and RDT&E engineers to gain access and technical intelligence to meet planning objectives.
