       THE OPPORTUNITY QHR is seeking a Director of IT Consultant with knowledge base in Project Management, Epic Build (Certified Analyst) with strong operations background. Extensive travel required throughout the U.S. Qualified and interested candidates may contact Bonnie Young at:  615-371-4810 or email:  [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the build, maintenance and optimization of multiple Epic master files. Build, test and maintain systems. Serves as project leader for issues and topics related to an electronic health record; Serves as a conduit for aligning resources and activities related to EHR topics and issues . Works with Senior EHR analysts to support clinical/operational activities in software design, configuration, implementation, testing, and activation of EHR software. Supports work effort during optimization of EHR software.Participates in the review of major releases and upgrades, evaluating new functionality for new features that can assist the organization with efficiency and effectiveness.  Oversees testing of new and modified features to prepare them for production use. Supports communication about new application functionality to the training team. Works with team to develop supporting materials as needed and aids team during training. Supports process design and implementation for  maintaining master files, end-user access, and security files. Responds to design and process level support questions related to the EHR. Works with technical team on plans and processes for device integration and implementation. Guides Development and documentation of  internal procedures in coordination with QHR clients. Assures client staff is well information on HIPAA regulatory and compliance requirements so that they can verify that their system complies with the regulations. Stays current on E.H.R. trends and emerging developments.Existing system optimization.
