BIOS Employment Training Specialists (ETS) will work under the supervision of a Lead ETS, Vocational Program Coordinator, Area Director, Vocational Division Administrator, COO and/or CEO. The ETS is responsible for onsite training of individuals, daily data collection, quality control, monthly documentation and oral communication on a weekly basis with the Vocational Program Coordinator and/or Area Director. The ETS’s job description includes: A BIOS ETS has the responsibility of following BIOS Policy and Procedures; Providing onsite training to individuals as they are assigned by the Vocational PC; Keeping daily data collection and submitting it to the Vocational PC weekly; Maintaining good rapport with employers and providing quality control on a daily basis. Keeping and turning in on a monthly basis, monthly documentation; Communicating on a weekly basis with the Vocational PC regarding programming issues; Attending meetings as are assigned by the Vocational PC; Provides coverage for co-workers as needed; Uses personal vehicle to transport customers to and from work; 10. Creates a safe, and gentle learning environment by using person centered skills 11. Supporting people to develop relationships, create connections to increase opportunities; 12. Facilitates all aspects of the job by creating task analysis that line out step by step instruction; 13. Responsible for up-dating person centered descriptions and 1 page profiles as needed; 14. Provides on-site hands on training and support in a variety of settings to ensure retention of job duties; 15. All BIOS ETS’s are charged with maintaining current certification and maintaining the educational standards as directed by DHS/DDSD and the individual plan; 16. BIOS ETS’s are charged with performing other duties and tasks as assigned by the Lead ETS, Vocational PC, Area Director, Vocational Division Administrator, COO and/or CEO.
