Sodexo Campus Services is currently seeking a Resource Position, Food Production Manager 2 to support the Atlanta Ga Area. This Resource position is a great training position for the right candidate looking to join the Sodexo Team. The position will initially support the award winning operations at Kennesaw State University for approximately six months. Ideal candidate must be able to provide support at this location for the duration of the resource position. This is a fantastic opportunity for an up and coming super star looking to get started or take that next step in their career with Sodexo.In this role, you will be required to be a key contributor for innovation, freshness, and purchasing local & sustainable food sources. This is a “hands-on” position. Responsibilities will include: menu planning, inventory, purchasing, food & labor costing and control, catering, scheduling, training and directing the frontline staff, along with direct customer and client interaction.Reporting to the District Manager, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years purchasing experience, a proven track record in aspects of unit operations including experience in cost control, culinary processes, quality control and monitoring, sustainable foods, computer literacy, a strong working knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, training and developing staff as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
