Job Title: Front End EngineerLocation: San Francisco, CATerms: 9 Month Contract-to-HireRate: $55-$80/hour (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)Company Overview:Our client, one of the leading entertainment companies in the world (movies, music, television, and video games), is looking for a senior level engineer to join their established, high performance team in the SoMa district of downtown San Francisco. This group applies web technologies to the core user experience on their new gaming consoles, which millions of customers around the world interact with daily. The ideal candidate will come from an object oriented development background and be enthusiastic about front end web technologies. Responsibilities:- Architecting and developing core system user interfaces for their gaming consoles, and future flagship handheld tablets/devices. - Connecting users and customers via rich, cutting-edge social experiences.- Creating digital commerce solutions for company's games and the company's entire suite of media services (including movies, music, etc). Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree- A minimum of 5-7+ years of Software Development experience- Expert in object oriented, asynchronous JavaScript- Proficient in HTML5 / CSS3, Node.js- Experience in developing high-performance user interfaces- Driven and passionate about producing amazing software- Works above and beyond set expectations Preferred Qualifications:C/C++WebGLCanvas2dC#/PythonRESTful API'sTest-driven development, use of unit/functional testing and automationEven if this position does not seem like a fit please contact Yusuf Ayar via email at yayar (at) teksystems (dot) com.
