Our client is upgrading their Active Directory infrastructure from Windows 2003 to 2012. They have about 2500 users, 1000 servers, and multiple domains that need to be cut over - along with about 690 enterprise applications tied into it.They are seeking TWO qualified Windows Systems Administrators for a 1 year project to assist with the upgrade. MCSA is a plus! The following skills are required:1. 3-5 years of experience supporting and administering Windows Servers2. Active Directory - Must know how AD works, and how it integrates and talks to servers in a large enterprise environment. Strong understanding of GPO (Group Policy Objects) and how they work. Ability to deploy new settings on the servers, check configurations, and deploy security through GPO - by picking out of one domain and pointing to a new one. Fidelis is using the quest migration tool for this project.3. Microsoft Application Support best practices - experience supporting applications through AD and getting them to work. Group Nesting is a best practice set up that Fidelis is using within AD and applications domains. Ability to troubleshoot at the application level and fine tune to make it work once it is migrated over.
