Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Manage a cost stack database model, includes regular data updates and maintenance, publishing market reports, providing data and analysis for internal requests, validating existing assumption and improving and streamlining the current database model. Developing a knowledge system of market intelligence on supply and demand, as well as competitor behaviors, which leads to changes in existing knowledge structure. Develop market forecasts on supply and demand, as well as prices and margins for chemical products, using various technique tools, i.e., stochastic simulation, market optimization, and statistical regressions. Research and validate cost structure and engineering technologies related to the nylon value chain. Coordinate internal sources, collect market intelligence and distribute weekly key driver report on raw materials and nylon intermediates. Deliver digest of consultant’s report for internal knowledge sharing. Support project analysis and intelligence collection. Improve internal knowledge system and documentation process.
