POSITION SUMMARY:Provides planning and management in the safe and efficient servicing of HVAC equipment, components and systems in commercial and/or residential settings. Utilizes human resources effectively to manage workload, achieve production and margin objectives and provide HVAC services to customers and contractors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES♦ Manages and develops the Service/AOR staff, which includes hiring, terminating and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective production.♦ Evaluates work load and schedules work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits.♦ Resolves customer issues and complaints in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.♦ Ability to manage daily target to achieve budged EBITA.♦ Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs and installs. ♦ Generates reports, as well as records on all job costing, inventory, tools and vehicles.♦ Instructs crews on the proper use of materials and quality workmanship.♦ Reviews payroll records to ensure that technicians are paid properly.♦ May conduct job site surveys.♦ Ensures that employees have proper tools for the job and that they are properly maintained.♦ Assists the dispatching department to ensure that the appropriate technician is selected for the type of services required.♦ Monitors preventive maintenance of vehicles to ensure proper operation.♦ Evaluates staff to determine training requirements. Provides on-the-job training and support to the employees.♦ Oversees facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring that assets are protected and controlled.♦ Maintains a clean and safe work area.♦ Observes all safety and company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
