Be it eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse; guiding population health management with data-driven insights; improving revenue cycles for our clients; or re-envisioning support systems for new models of healthcare delivery, we hold ourselves to a single standard: having immediate and outsized impact for our clients, and by extension, the broader health community.  We are looking for an exceptional Lead Analytic Scientist who has a master’s degree (PhD preferred) in a quantitative field with 8+ years of professional experience building predictive models on very large datasets.  You must also have 7+ years of experience with statistical analysis and modeling software such as SAS, SP_SS, Statistica DataMiner or equivalent.  Familiarity with Hadoop is a plus. In this capacity you will: Lead the development of new statistical and machine learning modeling initiatives at the project and product level. Implement innovative analytic methods that result in a technically superior product and/or create a competitive advantage, as well as meet design requirements and project timeline. Identify research and recommend internal and external data sources needed for modeling. Develop specifications for structure of analytic data set and layout, and execute the plan for exploratory analysis of data. Serve as lead technical resource in developing and validating fraud detection models, including devising novel implementations and coaching junior scientists. Develop process and metrics to monitor model performance. Review reports and make recommendations for needed model refits/enhancements. Provide pilot testing support and analyze test results if needed. Support and develop junior team-members.
