Medical Office ManagerMercy Physician Network, an operating unit within Mercy Health System, is seeking experienced Medical Office Manager for our surgical practice located on the campus of Mercy Philadelphia Hospital.This is administrative and technical work at the supervisory level, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a Physician Practice at either one or multiple sites. Work includes ensuring that the scheduling, patient registration/reception, clinical care, and patient check-out/discharge processes are completed in a professional manner in accordance with established protocol. Responsibility for practice operations, including employee scheduling and development, Information Systems, physician scheduling, maintenance of medical records and files, and quality management are significant aspects of the work. This position is also responsible for office billing and collections, purchasing supplies, and managing expenses.Qualified Candidates will possess the following combination of education, skills & experience:•Associates Degree (Bachelors preferred) with at least three years medical office management experience including knowledge of revenue cycle management and regulatory requirements for Physician Practices.OR•High School Diploma with six years medical office management experience including knowledge of revenue cycle management and regulatory requirements for physician practices.WITH•The ability to lead organizational change, particularly involving advance technology usage;•Knowledge of budget preparation•Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff & work collaboratively with physicians.Mercy Health System of Southeastern Pennsylvania is a diverse, integrated system, providing comprehensive health services and is comprised of four acute care hospitals, a home health care organization, a federal PACE program, Wellness Centers, and primary & specialty care practices.
