Facility: Presence Health - Corporate Office, Chicago, ILDepartment: INSUR VERIFICATION/PRE REGISTRSchedule: Full-timeShift: Day shiftHours: 8:30-5:00Req Number: 138696Job Details: Bachelors degree is preferred 3-5 years experience is required Experience is required Supervisory experience is required The Manager of PAS – Insurance Verification and Pre-Registration is responsible for managing the day to day activities of staff members responsible for verifying insurance benefits, completing pre-certification / notice of admission and pre-registering scheduled patients for Hospital services as defined in the Scope of Service.  The Manager will serve as primary liaison between this department and Facility Leadership and Medical Staff members to ensure that defined service level expectations are consistently met or exceeded. The duties performed will illustrate what is best for the patients as well as a development of an awareness and cooperation reflecting the interrelationship of departments in caring, comforting and healing the sick and injured.  The duties performed will be done in a spirit of Christian concern and charity and in accordance with the Catholic philosophy of Resurrection Health Care. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of four years of management experience in Patient Access, Patient Financial Services, or Case Management in lieu of Bachelor’s degree required NAHAM (National Association of Healthcare Access Management) Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) Certification   Presence Health is the largest health system based in Illinois, created in November 2011 through the merger of Provena Health and Resurrection Health Care.
