Are you ready to GO?This manager position will be an integral member of a Global Product Line Team and will serve as an advisor to the team on key financial issues and financial performance. This person will provide financial reporting information, financial analysis, and interpretation of trends as well as present findings and make recommendations to senior management.The attributes of success in this role include being a strong individual contributor and a self-starter, capable of learning the key business drivers and researching and analyzing financial trends based on information obtained from management reporting numbers in SAP and Hyperion, as well as non-financial information obtained from management interaction about business pursuit and performance. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact well with multiple stakeholders on financial matters are strongly desirable.This Product Service Line is a major player in the development and delivery of software and services to the Energy Industry. As part of the financial management accountability, the PSL F&A Manager will address all revenue recognition issues. This person will be the trusted business advisor to the management team dealing with the analysis of and input into the development of software, maintenance and sales agreements along with development of strategies to grow the business and increase profitability. The ideal candidate will have experience with the nuances of perpetual, access and subscription licensing agreements and understand how such nuances impact not only revenue recognition but customer's buying habits. Experience in evaluating the allocation of scarce resources to R&D, M&A and other strategies and the potential impact on future growth and profitability is a plus.The F&A Manager will coordinate financial processes and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data and reporting, forecast/budget preparation and balance sheet management of items such as inventory, accounts receivable, and capital. Also responsible for developing and applying accounting policies and principles to accounting records and financial statements as well as ensuring proper level of internal control is maintained.
