Salary Range: $100,000 to $180,000 DOE   Minimum Requirements: B.S. Chemical Engineering; minimum 5+ years of experience with some previous or current experience working within an E&C or Operating firm. Candidates must also have experience doing process design and simulation on multi-million projects. Candidates must be out the following the industries: LNG (liquefied natural gas), refining, ethylene, polyethylene, or petrochemicals. Ideally, out of a division licensing or developing new technology. The key is someone who is developing new technologies to optimize and design new and existing petrochemical facilities.   Job Description: This person will work out of a corporate engineering office developing new processes and new technologies and licensing them for petrochemical facilities. This person will do conceptual process design, process simulation, heat & mass balances, and put together preliminary and final P&ID and PFDs. This person will also participate in design calculations, equipment specification and materials specification. Other types of work involved with this position include hydraulic calculations and utility system calculations. The projects that this group handles are primarily related to heavy hydrocarbons, inlet impurities removal, CO2 and H2S disposal, fuel gas and boiler off-gas compression and optimization, compressor dynamic simulations, etc. This is a direct-hire role and includes full company benefits along with salaried compensation.
