Neenah Paper is looking for a dynamic procurement professional to join a growing and exciting organization where your experience and efforts make a difference. This role, located in Alpharetta, GA will manage key commodities and services for our North American businesses including indirect services such as marketing, information technology (IT), service providers and other significant material commodities pending experience.  The role is expected to drive bottom line results through sourcing strategies, supplier management, internal and external business partnerships with a relentless pursuit of providing a competitive advantage to Neenah.  In this role you will be engaged with essentially all parts of the business, so adaptability and flexibility are key traits of the ideal candidate.  This role reports to the Director or Procurement.  If you are an experienced procurement professional and meet the requirements outlined then consider joining the Neenah Paper team. Responsibilities Drive business cost, operational and quality objectives by maximizing the value of our spending Ensure that business requirements for materials and services are procured in a timely manner ensuring quality, service, lowest cost in use that provides a competitive advantage to Neenah Establish and manage sourcing strategies to support business objectives Act as an internal change agent to drive improvements in total cost in use Evaluate spending and utilization of materials to drive out cost Provide a competitive advantage to the business through domain expertise including market research, trends and category best practices Manage and ensure the application of established corporate and department controls within the organization by providing direction and support Ensure that purchase requirements for the business are processed in a timely manner in a way that minimizes risks, and maximizes value Negotiate contracts for the business to minimize risk to the business and manage costs Manage vendor relationships to drive continuous improvement Leverage vendor relationships to bring products to market faster and ensure new technologies result in a competitive advantage to Neenah Paper Manage vendors to promote quality improvement Manage vendors to eliminate supply chain inefficiencies Act as a communication facilitator between NPI and suppliers
