Group: MSSClearance Level Needed: SecretShift: DayCategory: Engineering & Support ServicesManTech is seeking talented Quality Assurance professionals toperformance quality assurance and quality engineering roles on Air Force launch and range programs including analysisof product and circuit reliability, thermal, structural and natural spaceenvironments modeling and simulation, electromagnetic compatibilityrequirements, test, and analysis, problem failure reporting, probabilistic riskassessment, Information Technology, quality assurance, systems safety and partsengineering support. General Responsibilities: General responsibilities include, but not limitedto: Perform supplier audits/evaluations and source/hardware andsoftware inspections. Expert understanding of MIL-PRF-38535, MIL-STD-883,MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-STD-750, hybrid manufacturing, hybrid assembly, hybridrepair in Class 100 facilities. Interface with Project Managers, ProjectElement Managers, Task Managers, and Mission Assurance Managers to developappropriate quality assurance engineering requirements for launch and rangeprograms. Generate workforce /cost plans, quality assurance procedures andinstructions. Be familiar with inspection techniquesand procedures, processing of failure reports and MRB&s. Implement goodcommunication skills. Perform workmanship inspections/evaluations. Investigate production issues and qualityescapes, anomalies, and failures. Provide analysis and root-cause determinationand verify corrective action implementation and objectively monitor processhealth. Requirements: The candidate must have, at minimum, aBachelors degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or ElectricalEngineering plus 7 years experience or 12 years equivalent experience. Directexperience in quality assurance engineering required. Experience with launch,ground and/or Range systems hardware and a broad technical knowledge ininspection and evaluation of manufacturing and systems engineering processes.Requires wide knowledge of configuration control/verification of systems.Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems Other Skills Required: This position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, andeffective decision-making. Applicant will also be able to demonstrate excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, ability to work with others in a teamsetting, and proficiency with MS Office products to include Project, PowerPoint and collaborative software products such as MS SharePoint. Occasionaltravel in the CONUS is required. Clearance: Position requires, at a minimum, a Secret Clearanceor the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance within 30 days.
