Regional Director of Utilization and Review- Columbus, OH regionGreystone Healthcare Management, founded in 2001 currently manages 27 skilled rehab communities throughout Florida and Ohio, has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Director of Utilization Review! We are a rapidly growing organization which believes in giving the best patient care. The Regional Director of Utilization Review will oversee and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment (MDS) in accordance with current Federal and state rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the resident assessment, including the implementation of CAAs and triggers. This individual is the support person for the completion of the resident assessment instrument (RAI) process of multiple communities. He/she will maintain compliance in accordance with the requirements of the federal and state regulations, as well as company policy and procedures. Requirements:A current license in good standing to practice as a Licensed Nurse in the state of Ohio.Strong knowledge of Ohio Case Mix development.Must maintain high integrity and compliance with PPS and billing practices.Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of the RAI process, including but not limited to MDS, CAAs, care planning, and assessment sequencing. Including up to date PPS practices.Ability to make independent decisions and follow through with limited supervision.Knowledgeable and understanding of state and federal regulations and guidelines governing the practices of a SNF.Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with an interdisciplinary care team. Proven written and oral communication skills. Able to relate positively, favorably and cooperatively with others, including, our customers, family members, associates, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, and policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care.Basic understanding of computer technology, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.Ability to travel.
