Essential Duties and Responsibilities % Time Essential Duties and Responsibilities 30% Supervise/assign daily activities to shipping and receiving employees. Ensure an organized, safe and sanitary work environment in compliance with Company policies, OSHA and other government regulations. 30% Maintain stock order transfers as necessary, and ensure timely and accurate load out of all products. Make adjustments as necessary. 15% Ensure accurate and timely recording of all receiving tasks and accompanying transactions. 10% Ensure full compliance with all quality assurance standards, especially good housekeeping and overall cleanliness of products and work areas. Participate in Plant walk-throughs in absence of Manager. Maintain awareness of deficiencies and make corrective actions within own assigned area. 5% Perform cost containment activities and drive productivity. 5% Drive and monitor departmental achievement for successful attainment of targeted Sales to Service metrics. 5% Cooperate with all departments as a cross-functional change agent. Provide back-up to Department Manager. Perform other duties as assigned or required. Required Experience Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level Required Bachelors Degree plus 1 – 2 years experience, or 4 or more years of progressively more responsible warehouse experience Certified in fork lift operation Computer literate with proficiency in spreadsheet, word, transportation and cold chain applications Leadership and communications skills
