At ManTech International Corporation, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Responsibilities:Provide classification, management and guidance to approximately 46 subordinate units for DOD special access programs to include information security, physical security, personnel security, operations security and information technology security.Assist the PM/GSO in implementing security awareness and training program throughout the ANG.Assist the PM/GSO in providing guidance, direction, and interpretation of the personnel security program.Review and make recommendations on the methods and techniques required to secure Automated Information System (AIS) systems.Assist in conducting security reviews of subordinate units. Advise and assist the PM/GSO in providing technical guidance and direction during new facility construction or when modifying existing facilitiesAssist the PM/GSO in providing guidance to unit-level security managers regarding program security.Assist the PM/GSO in providing overall classification management and guidance for government and Department of Defense (DoD) contractors involved in Air National Guard (ANG) special access programs. Tasks shall include implementation of standard methodologies for classification management in collateral and special access programs.Provide advice and assistance to the PM/GSO on guidance to local and subordinate units on implementation of applicable government security standards. Develop, review and recommend for approval security awareness training and education programs.Develop, review and recommend for approval unit security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Coordinate and facilitate personnel security workshops and ANG conferences to provide guidance to unit level security managers on matters pertaining to program security.Assist with the coordination and conduct of Staff Assistance Visits and Program Reviews.Assist the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in providing technical guidance and recommendations to the government in the methods and techniques required to secure AIS used in support of special access programs.Review System Security Plans (SSP) and recommend for approval.Perform system security tests and evaluations on specified systems as needed.Provide support for research, design, and implementation of an AIS security-training program. Provide policy and procedural recommendations concerning certification and accreditation for ANG units and activities.Assist the PM/GSO in providing facility security administration and management.Ensure personnel processed for access meet the prerequisite personnel clearance and/or investigative requirements.Oversee an information management system to facilitate the control of requisite information.Conduct an annual accountable classified material inventory.Advise and assist with the construction requirements and facility maintenance IAW SAP directives.Write, review, and edit concept validation requests and recommend approval.Write, review, and edit Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) for new/pre-construction and recommend approval.Update FFCs when changes are made.Assist in the conduct of physical security site surveys.Ensure Information Systems comply with joint special access program implementation guide (JSIG). Assist with the establishment and oversee a visitor control program.Establish reproduction and destruction procedures and methods and recommend approval.Ensure adherence to special communications capabilities.Conduct program indoctrination and annual refresher, briefings and debriefings.Assist with the establishment and oversee specialized procedures for the transmission of material to and from program elements.Assist the PM/Security Officer GSO with Emissions Security (EMSEC) and Operations Security (OPSEC).Provide security awareness training and education to locally assigned personnel.Review and make recommendation in the methods and techniques required to secure AIS systems.Perform evaluation on systems to make sure AIS is working properly. Review, process, and complete documents and electronic databases for processing personnel security. Assist with information management system used to facilitate the control of requisite information within.Assist with the establishment and implementation of a visitor control program.Ensure adherence to special communications capabilities as directed by the PM/GSO.Prepare comprehensive SOPs to implement security policies and requirements and recommend approval.Assist the PM/GSO with conducting annual security self-inspections in accordance with SAP directives.Screen candidates for SAP access eligibility using DoD 5205.7, SAP Policy.Maintain and track all personnel security actions.Requirements:Minimum of 7 years& experience in Department of Defense (DoD) security management. Knowledge or experience in the following areas: security administration, personnel security, program security, clearance adjudication, database entry.Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance based upon a SSBI completed within the last 5 years.
