We are working with our client who is looking to add to their sourcing team in their downtown office.  The role is for a System Analyst who will oversee the enterprise sourcing portal.  Here are a few more details about the position:  Responsible for system configurations and design of the application Requirements gathering and analyzing system performance to ensure functionality across all platforms. Responsible for automation and innovation of transactional and transformational work surrounding Strategic Sourcing functions. Serve as a liaison between IT, Strategic Sourcing, and outside service providers to analyze business and user needs, document requirements, track and administer licenses, and resolve functionality and usability issues. RESPONSIBILITIES: Functions as a technical expert in the design, configuration, modification and debugging of the assigned solution. Works independently to create and configure ordering templates, contract catalogs and item files that effectively support Bank and Sourcing policies and requirements. Maintains day to day relationship with outside service providers/vendors. Works with the business to prioritize and manage system changes and projects with vendor resources. Partner with IT to prevent adverse technical impacts to other platforms during implementations. Collaborate with systems users to provide Tier 2 technical support, solicit ideas for system improvements and oversee adoption and ease of use. Design and maintain system processes, procedures and support documentation based on lessons learned and continuous improvement processes. Maintains manuals, standard business and status reports, technical training material and reference material. Work with internal and external development teams to perform quality assurance checks on content, test content for proper functionality and troubleshoot and resolve problems. Perform routine quality checks to safeguard data accuracy and system health. Define data requirements, data definitions and data interdependencies across HR and financial applications. Collect, analyze and report predetermined performance and quality metrics; develop metrics for new and existing processes; and make recommendations for improvements. Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions. Administer usage rights, and track to ensure compliance to contractually allowed licensing right, proactively identifying future needs. On occasion, as demand requires, input supplier data into the system. Maintain a position of trust and confidentiality.
