Job Description - Program Manager – Verisk Health Revenue Integrity Division Verisk Health RQI is looking for an experienced program/project manager to manage and deliver on a program of projects to achieve a set of business objectives, with direction from senior management. Programs will be managed to maximize the associated benefits of the business. Responsibilities Responsible for leading/coordination of analysis, design, development, QA, and Release activities in cross functional/matrix environment using Agile methodology.  Will work closely with product owner to execute on product roadmap (functional and technical enhancements) manage the product release activities Execution  of scrum master role within Agile delivery process,  sprint planning,  daily burn down tracking, sprint log maintenance, sprint execution, sprint retrospectives, release management, communications. PM support for product to include resource allocation, plan of record management and reporting, resource demand planning, budget, estimation. Execution of all project planning, activities to include determination of scope,  milestones, risks, and issues, Working across the organization with functional managers to determine resource needs, resource allocations, and onboarding of resources to support project needs Responsible for working cross functionally with to coordinate development efforts that involve multiple products or integration points between products Ensure coherence of the project/program, through regular reassessment of project priorities, by resolving resource conflicts, monitoring changes in project portfolio and reassessing whether projects continue to meet business objectives and to use funds efficiently Working across the organization with functional managers to determine resource needs, resource allocations, and onboarding of resources to support project needs Support for key performance indicators within the PMO Successfully lead large, high-profile  projects. Establish and maintain correct structures to control and monitor deliverables Ensure that comprehensive project/program,  quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained Monitor overall progress and initiate corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that deliverables are produced on time and within budget. Monitor and controls team performance against plans Provide coaching in complex or less frequently used techniques to experienced Project Managers Ensure that projects are closed out and, where  appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and appropriate action is taken. Produce appropriate documentation to support these processes Skills and Knowledge Solid understanding of project planning,  estimation and budgeting Experience with delivery of projects in software development environment, using SDLC techniques. (Agile delivery methodology preferred) Experience with system integration projects which involve consolidation and migration of multiple systems Demonstrates competence in key areas of management and leadership expertise. Solid communication and relationship building skills, staff direction and motivation, financial planning and control,  quality management, risk analysis and the achievement of targets Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft office products (Excel and PowerPoint specifically) Ability to lead delivery of a large IT program that includes multiple projects and work streams in a matrix environment Strong planning, communication and presentation skills, and is proficient in project quality management Solid understanding of the policy framework, management structures and reporting procedures for all aspects of the program's environment Experience Achieved proficiency in the role of senior  project manager, including experience of managing multiple projects. Proven project management and leadership skills, and a good knowledge of business analysis. Experience in consulting preferred Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required PMP certification preferred but not required 10+ years of experience leading project teams and executing projects Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
