Title: Sr. Site Reliability Engineer Job Location: San Jose, CA Job Description: Our customer is seeking an Application Engineer who will become a key member of the production operations team; you will lead the design, implementation and evolution to the next generation production operations architecture in support of their SaaS platform. You’ll bring to the role a passion for building flexible, extensible, highly scalable, robust, and high performance production systems. You must be driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate will be proficient and proven in the design and implementation of scalable multi-tenant production architecture and the pay a key role in selecting and implementing the use of a mix of leading, industry standard and emerging technologies. You have a track record of working with a team and applying the right technology to the problem including thinking and implementing outside the RDBMS-paradigm. You will bring your battle proven experience in web operations of a SaaS, consumer destination site, or other large-scale production-engineering platform to the team. You will own and directly contribute to the design, implementation, evaluation, selection, and support of systems production technologies. You will serve as the lead architect for their customer facing production architecture, which includes their Corporation’s entire product suite. Working in a dynamic environment, you will collaborate with product managers, peer software engineers and architects, QA engineers, DBAs and production operations systems engineers.
